Cops Walk Out After Cash-Strapped City Installs Ads On Patrol Cars

Police officers in the city of Grande Knob are walking the picket line today after city leaders voted to install bus-type advertising on the department’s 14 patrol cars.

“It’s really embarrassing,” said Officer Kitten Commiskey, a 6-year veteran of the department.  “We were so excited when we got our new Dodge Chargers and then the city goes and plasters stupid ads all over them,” she complained.

But Mayor Darden Penrod countered that the department wouldn’t even have new patrol cars if not for the advertising that helped pay for them.

Officer Kitten Commiskey also complained that her helmet is too large. "A size XXL helmet on a size S head," she grumbled.

While she was complaining, Officer Kitten Commiskey also noted that her helmet doesn’t fit

“I can’t believe they’re upset,” he said, referring to the police officers.  “They have nice new police cars to drive around.  So what if there’s a picture of some doughnuts on the door?!”
