With Nearly All Recalls Completed, GM to Start Recalling Other Brands

General Motors announced today that it has nearly completed recalls on all the vehicles it has built since the company was formed in 1908 by rapper-industrialist will.i.am durant, and hopes to soon start recalling other manufacturers’ vehicles.

“Thousands of GM employees’ jobs are recall-related, so we can’t just stop now,” explained company spokesperson Soufflé Cadwallader.

Asked what brands GM intends to recall, Cadwallader said that no decisions have been made.

“I will tell you, though, that we’re done with ignition switches,”  said Cadwallader, shaking her head.  “Our technicians want to work on other stuff.  Honda has some door lock problems that look interesting, so maybe we’ll talk to them,” said Cadwallader.
