Scoop! Saleen’s Upcoming Mustang To Feature De Dion Suspension

Parksplug has learned that high-performance vehicle manufacturer Saleen plans to equip its upcoming Ford Mustang-based track racer with the venerable De Dion suspension. Saleen spokesman Ichabod Wheeler agreed to sit down with us for a quick Q&A session:

Parksplug: The Kawasaki Mule ATV and the Smart Fortwo are the only vehicles currently in production that we can think of that have a De Dion suspension. What are the advantages to this setup?

Wheeler: There are none, really. We just wanted to call the car the Saleen De Dion.
