Chevy Takes the Wraps Off New Silverado Repo Edition
The Chevrolet Silverado Repo Edition features a 20″ front end lift, meant to evoke images of a repossession tow
Chevrolet has unveiled photos of its upcoming Silverado Repo Edition. The half-ton pickup, which should hit dealerships in late Spring, is readily identifiable by its significantly raised front end. “It simulates the truck being repossessed and on the back of a tow truck,” explained Chevrolet spokesman Tarzan Suggs.
The Repo Edition also features magnetic towing taillights and a Slimjim jammed in the driver’s side window sill.
Battered Cavalier is included with every Repo Edition purchase
Perhaps the highlight of the $1500 package, however, is the beater Chevrolet Cavalier that is included with every Repo Edition purchase. “You have to have something to drive after your truck is repo’d,” said Suggs.
