Nissan Hopeful Dogs Will Chase Redesigned Leaf EV
The newly-redesigned Nissan Leaf, expected to hit showrooms soon, will feature a 60 kWh battery pack, good for a claimed 200 mile range.

But perhaps more importantly, it will look nothing like the current model, which is so homely in a cartoon amphibian sort of way that dogs refuse to chase it.
“It really is disheartening,” Nissan spokesperson Birdie Numnum sniffed while wiping away a tear.
“However,” she continued, her face brightening considerably, “we’re quite confident that the dogs will definitely chase our newly redesigned Leaf.”
Dog trainer Kumar Nootley wasn’t so sure, however. “Hopefully the car looks completely different. With the existing one, you could dangle a T-Bone from the bumper and dogs still won’t chase it.”
