Jeep Strikes Gold With Glass-Bottom Wrangler

Jeep has a certifiable hit on its hands with the recently released glass bottom Wrangler.  In fact, sales have skyrocketed to the point that the Torpedo, Ohio assembly plant can’t build enough of them to meet the demand for what the automaker calls its “see-through-the-floor-4×4.”

“We thought it would appeal primarily to off-roaders because they can look down and see the terrain underneath their Jeep, but surprisingly, it’s selling well across the board,” said Rance Wormley, 52, who, strangely, doesn’t work for Jeep, and instead runs a mobile cat grooming business out of a 2005 Buick Terraza minivan but claims to “know a lot about Jeeps and stuff.”

New owner Archie Gallenkamp said his glass bottom Wrangler is “a hoot” to drive. “I especially enjoy driving down the street really slow and counting cigarette butts,” he said while yanking out an errant nose hair.
