Desparate For Sales, Volkswagen to Sell Four-Packs of Jettas at Costco

At a joint press conference today, Volkswagen and Costco announced that the giant warehouse club will begin selling four-packs of the slow selling Volkswagen Jetta. 

Costco spokesperson Bubbles Einhorn said the retailer plans to rename the compact sedan the Kirkland Sport Sedan.  She explained to Parksplug, “The Kirkland brand is synonymous with value,” whatever that means.  

Einhorn said the membership club is also in negotiations with VW to sell four-packs of the Volkswagen Eos, a hardtop convertible that looks like the illegitimate love child of a Buick Reatta and a Short Brothers Skyvan.
