The Cadillac Escalator, the only stairway-equipped luxury SUV on the market, has been canceled by General Motors, according to the automotive website we poached this information from (yes, Mr. Grammar Nazi, we realize that should read “from which we poached…” but our eighth grade English teacher Mrs. Lomotil has been dead since 1982.  So there.) 

An unnamed GM source cited slow sales for the move, particularly in European markets.  “I think the steps were too big.  They have smaller feet over there in Europe,” said the source.
