Parents of Young Boy Frightened by “Monsters” in His Bedroom Say Prius Poster to Blame

Several times a night over the past three months, seven-year-old Hewitt Larch woke up crying in the middle of the night, complaining to his frustrated parents that he saw a monster.

“We’d tell him there are no such things as monsters and to go back to sleep,” said his sleep-deprived mother Flicka.  “Finally, we had him describe the monster and we realized he was looking at his Prius poster.”  

After burning the poster, Hewitt has been sleeping soundly, his parents report.
