Toyota Announces Plan to Sue Itself Over Failure of Scion

Toyota, the world’s largest automaker announced today it will file suit against itself for allegedly starving discontinued Scion of fresh, innovative products.

“It’s reprehensible what we’ve done and we think the courts will agree,” said Toyota spokesperson Bisque Jean McQueen. “Scion was once a thriving brand that sold more than 170,000 cars annually, but in later years, we sent them nothing but unexciting beige-colored boxes and not enough of them.”

McQueen declined to specify what damages Toyota will seek from itself.

However, Toyota attorney Pizzaz Krazinski denies Toyota’s allegations and said the automaker will vigorously defend itself against itself in court.

“To say we neglected Scion is ridiculous. Why, just a year ago we even introduced an awesome Scion-specific TRD shift knob and a non-gray cargo mat.  I can’t wait to put myself on the stand,” she sneered.
