City Blames “Hackers, Condensation, or Maybe Chris Christie” For Problems With City’s New Traffic Cop Holograms

Broken Nut Mayor Cletus Dinwiddie blamed everything from condensation and hackers to New Jersey mayor Chris Christie for  problems plaguing the city’s new and much ballyhooed  traffic cop holograms , although we’re not quite sure what “ballyhooed” means.

“I think it’s Chris Christie, myself,” said Dinwiddie.  “But whoever these guys are, they’re bad actors, maybe even hombres,” he exclaimed angrily, pounding his fist on his Rubbermaid podium.

New York City dropped their plans to install traffic cop holograms following a number of glitches with the system, including split images like that shown above

The holograms, which came on line in downtown Broken Nut last Monday, have reportedly frozen, split in two, and even directed motorists to proceed in all directions at once, causing gridlock and two minor collisions.

Dinwiddie said the hologram system’s manufacturer instructed the city to try fixing it by “turning it off, and then turning it back on again.”
