Spy Photo: Designers Update Cherokee by Turning Front Clip Upside-Down

2019 Cherokee:  It’s the same, only upside-down

According to this recent spy photo, the next-generation Jeep Cherokee will look just like the current one except the entire front end will be inverted.

“It’s an inexpensive way for manufacturers to update the looks of a vehicle without having to do a ton of engineering,” said veteran auto designer Curdle Fishman.  “Frankly, I don’t think it looks any worse upside-down.”

The new crossover will utilize existing drivetrains, but a new “Somewhat Limited” model will reportedly slot between the current Limited and Unlimited Cherokees.
