Chevrolet brass are reportedly outraged over Toyota’s decision to name it’s upcoming small trucklet the RAValanche.  As you might have guessed, it’s built on the RAV4 platform and comes equipped with a 24-inch bed behind the extended cab.  Toyota claims the RAValanche will haul a 4×8 sheet of plywood as long as it’s in sawdust form.

Bloody hell.  Jaguar-Land Rover owner Tata has confirmed it will change the name of the legendary British car color to Indian Racing Green.

Sources say FiatChrysler was shocked to discover it’s still paying royalties for the Plymouth Road Runner horn.  When Plymouth introduced the affordable high-performance sedan back in 1968, one of the car’s unique features was a horn that mimicked the “meep meep” sound made by the Warner Brothers cartoon bird.

Chrysler paid royalties to Warner in exchange for permission to use the cartoon Road Runner’s voice and likeness.  But last week, a Chrysler accountant going through old files made a shocking discovery — the automaker has been paying those royalties since the car’s demise in 1980.  FiatChrysler’s demand for a multimillion dollar refund fell on deaf Warner ears.  If they have to pay for it, they might as well use it.  Meep meep just might work for the Fiat 500, don’t you think?
