Exclusive! First Blurry Spy Photo of Upcoming Porsche Roxster!

We keep telling him, “Clean the damn lens!” but does he listen?  No.

2017 Porsche Roxster shares the Boxster platform

The 2017 Porsche Roxster, essentially a Boxster crossover, was photographed while parked in front of a cat microchipping facility in Sindelfingen, Germany.

Nevertheless, Parksplug’s crack spy photographer, Dardle Puckett, shown below wearing his trademark Dickie’s camouflage suit, somehow snapped the first blurry photo of Porsche’s Boxster-based crossover, the Roxster.

Porsche has been characteristically tight-lipped about the Roxster, but we do know it shares the Boxster’s basic platform and engines, and all-wheel-drive will be available.

Unlike the Boxster and Cayman, however, the Roxster will include a dipstick for checking the oil level.  A red-handled dipstick is available as a $3,500 option.

Prices have not been announced, but we believe the Roxster will fall somewhere between the Macan’s base price of $47,500 and the sales tax on a Porsche 918.
