“It was probably a piece of space debris…maybe a nut that fell off an old satellite, or maybe a plastic straw,” said Sirius XM spokesman Todo Musser.  “Right now, all our channels are streaming nothing but Daft Punk.”

Sirius XM issued a statement apologizing to its customers and adding, “Our engineers are working hard to get the satellite back into its proper orbit so our customers can enjoy our full lineup of great music and entertainment, including the Jenny McCarthy show.  In the meantime, please enjoy Daft Punk.”
