Two Distinctive New RV’s Coming Soon to a Campsite Near You:
Mercedes-Benz and Coleman — two iconic brands not frequently mentioned in the same sentence — are both unveiling new RV’s just in time for the wretched and dreary winter travel season.
Mercedes-Benz initially planned to introduce its C-Class Class C AMG (below left) last spring but had difficulty deciding on a name. “We couldn’t decide whether to call it the C-Class Class C AMG or the Class C C-Class AMG,” said Mercedes Marketing Manager Knut “K-Nut” Kaspar.
Compared to the 24′ long, $100K Mercedes, Coleman’s battery-powered Tentster (below right) sleeps just three — or one person with a BMI over 40 — but it’s priced below $15-thousand.
Like Mercedes, Coleman also had problems coming up with a name for its RV. “We really liked the name Tentsla but it sounded too similar to another EV manufacturer,” said spokesperson Malaria Tickman.
