2018 Buick Regal to Feature “Six On the Tree” Manual Transmission
The 2018 Buick Regal will feature a “six-on-the-tree” manual transmission
Like the Philippine Naked-Backed Fruit Bat, manual transmission column shifters were thought to be extinct. And, until now, they were.
But Buick just announced that it’s 2018 Regal will bring back the column shifter for it’s six-speed manual transmission.
When asked the reason for reintroducing a feature that is generally despised, Buick spokesperson Adenoid Whitley replied, “It frees up space in the center console for more coffee cups, phones and other crap.”
