Dealership Bathes Owners Instead of Carwash on Rainy Days

“Washing all those cars on a rainy day is a lesson in futility,” said Flod Neckner, the service manager at Ladron Nissan out on the interstate.  Incidentally, Flod says his name was supposed to be Floyd, but “my parents forgot the ‘Y’.”  

When it rains, Ladron Nissan washes the customers themselves rather than the vehicles.  “We spray ’em, get ’em all sudsed up, rinse ’em, and towel ’em off,” explained Neckner.  “Of course, unlike for the vehicles, we use warm water on the customers.  Most folks seem to enjoy it.”  

Flod added that the dealership will wax cars, but not the customers, so don’t ask.
