Next Ford Expedition to Feature a “Who Farted?” Monitor

Few things are worse than someone passing gas while riding in a car filled with passengers.  What IS worse, however, is not being able to identify the perpetrator, which makes it impossible to eject the rancid jackass on the side of the road.

But with the newly available seat-mounted sensors in the 2022 Ford Expedition, you can fart, but you can’t hide.  As soon as the system detects any flatulence, a dashboard indicator light identifies the guilty party.

“It’s very sensitive,” said Ford Vapor Engineer Rutger Vossbrink.  “It’ll detect even those hard-to-detect hissing farts.”

Being somewhat gaseous ourselves, we think it’s fortunate the driver has the option of disabling the system for his or her own seat.
