Nissan Leaf Beats Kenmore Top-Loading Washer As Best Electrical Appliance

If you’re in the market for a reliable electrical appliance, you might want to check out the latest issue of Consumer Reports.  

The experts there recently chose the Nissan Leaf over the Kenmore Elite 77981 top-load washer as “Best Electrical Appliance,” giving the Leaf a whole row of these symbols:which apparently is pretty good.  The Kenmore only got three of them.  

“They’re both excellent appliances,” said Consumer Reports editor Detwiler Stitch.  “Yes, the Kenmore does offer an extended spin cycle that the Nissan doesn’t, but the Leaf is much more comfortable to sit in and comes with a large tax credit.”  

Reached for comment, a Kenmore spokesperson shouted, “Yeah, well, our Kenmore Elite trash compactor would kick the Leaf’s ass,” and slammed down the phone.
